Kait grew up in-between her Pop’s mechanic shop around old, beat up cars and her Mom’s hair salon among powerful, glamorous women and queers. That is exactly what her style encompasses; gritty nostalgia, strength, beauty and of course some good ol’ rock ‘n roll.
Being self taught, Kait found herself naturally gravitating towards street and lifestyle photography. Through this she expanded and fell in love with shooting portraits both in and out of her Portland based studio. Kait is inspired by the 60’s/70’s, classic rides, grungy music and folks who give a fuck. She loves to work with artists, queers, makers, musicians and other weirdos.
